What We Do
Community Building
First and foremost, Loyola Lambda is an organization by and for LGBTQIA+ law students and allies. Loyola Lambda emphasizes the need to create a strong and supportive community in which we can support, learn, collaborate, and inspire each other. Loyola Lambda organizes, hosts and facilitates activities and events to engage students, create a safe space and build a supportive community where all are welcome.

Professional Development
Lambda provides professional development opportunities throughout the school year. We strive to listen to the wants and needs of student members to create professional development opportunities that serve you! Guest speakers and lectures will allow members to learn directly from members of the LGBTQ+ community, while networking events will help to build and strengthen those community ties.

Activism & Advocacy
As law students, we understand that activism and advocacy are vital for the protection and betterment of our community. Lambda will work throughout the year to empower members to participate in community activism, from service projects to educational campaigns. Members will engage in advocacy on every level, from discussing community needs, developing response programs, and using our collective talents to create sustainable change.
